Lok Sabha Election 2019: Giriraj Singh defeats Kanhaiya by a huge margin, but Manoj Sinha's defeat in Ghazipur

Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has defeated the present MP and Congress candidate Shatrughan Sinha with 2.84 lakh votes in Bihar's Patna Sahib Lok Sabha seat under the results of the general elections declared byVeerwar , on another very popular Bihar seat. Giriraj Singh has won more than four lakh seats. At the same time, Union Minister Manoj Sinha lost in the Gazipur seat more than a million votes in UP, while Bollywood actor Jaya Prada had to face defeat at Azam Khan's hands in good numbers in Rampur.

Talk about Patna Sahib seat, Rajya Sabha member Prasad receives 61.85 percent of the total votes cast in this seat. After the BJP did not give the ticket, Sinha had joined the Congress about a month ago. He won more than one lakh votes in Patna Sahib seat in the 2009 and 2014 Lok Sabha elections. Prior to this, Sinha said in a press conference called in the funeral, "My best wishes to my friend Narendra Modi and master strategist Amit Shah. I hope they will give good governance to the people of the country. In Bihar, central minister and BJP leader Giriraj Singh defeated his nearest rival and CPI candidate Kanhaiya Kumar with a difference of more than four lakh votes in Begusarai Lok Sabha seat in Begusarai. Giriraj, who won the Nawada seat in the 2014 Lok Sabha election, this time the BJP had made its candidate from Begusarai. Initially, he was reluctant to contest from Begusarai.

One of two very important parliamentary constituencies of Uttar Pradesh, Union Minister and BJP candidate Manoj Sinha lost the election from the BSP's Afzal Ansari with 1.19 lakh votes in Gazipur. According to the EC's website, Sinha lost election to Afzal Ansari with one lakh 19 thousand 392 votes. Sinha got 4 lakh 46 thousand 690 votes while BSP's Afzal Ansari got 5 lakh 66 thousand 82 votes. In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Sinha won the elections with 32 thousand votes. Apart from this, Samajwadi Party's Azam Khan defeated BJP candidate Jaya Prada by over one lakh votes in Rampur Lok Sabha seat in Rampur. According to Election Commission's website, SP candidate Azam Khan defeated his nearest rival Jaya Prada with one lakh 9 thousand 997 votes.
