After a massive victory in the Lok Sabha elections, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Modi Cabinet) took oath on Thursday for a second term. Former Foreign Secretary S. Jaishankar (S. Jaishankar) also joined Modi Cabinet and made him the minister. 1977 batch IFS officer S. Jayashankar has good penetration in foreign affairs and he is considered to be a very fast-moving officer. s. Jaishankar was made Foreign Secretary in January 2015 by the Central Government . Earlier, Jaishankar was India's ambassador to the US. It is said that Jaishankar played a key role in clearing the path of the nuclear deal with the United States and making Obama a guest on Republic Day.

originally belonged to Tamil Nadu S. Jaishankar (S. Jaishankar) was born in Delhi. His late father Subramaniam has been considered one of India's leading strategic analysts. s. Jaishankar's education took place in the Air Force School and St. Stephens College. His wife is Kyoko Jaishankar and has two sons and a daughter. In addition to doing MA from Political Science, Jaishankar has also done M.Phil and PhD. She is also a member of the International Institute for Strategic Studies London.

First posting was received in 1979:  
S. The first posting of Jaishankar was held in the Indian Embassy of Russia from 1979 to 1981. After that, he was an Under Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs from 1981 to 1985. Then between 1985 and 1988, he was the first Secretary of India in the United States and after this he worked as a political adviser to the Indian Peace Keeping Force in Sri Lanka. In 1990 he was given the posting of the Commercial Counselor in Budapest. After this he returned home and looking for the affairs of Eastern Europe for three years. From 1996 to 2000, Tokyo also took over the post of Indian ambassador in the Czech Republic until 2004. After returning from the Czech Republic, he was looking at the US Department for Foreign Affairs for three years. In 2007, he was sent to India High Commissioner Singapore. From 2009 to 2013 he was India's ambassador to China.
